About the Author
Marc Hachadourian is the director of glasshouse horticulture and senior curator of orchids at the New York Botanical Garden, overseeing the cultivation of tens of thousands of tropical and temperate plants grown for conservatory exhibitions and permanent horticultural display. He also serves as the curator of the garden’s orchid collection and oversees the CITES Rescue Center Program for the garden, helping to take in and rehabilitate plants that have been illegally imported to conserve and protect endangered species.
